Brent Giannotta

Writer / former CIA counterterrorism analyst

For five years, I served as a CIA counterterrorism analyst targeting ISIS foreign fighters and external attack cadres in Iraq and Syria. I earned a BA in international relations from the University of Southern California and a graduate degree in Middle East studies from the American University in Cairo. I'm currently living in my native Los Angeles and working on a book about how infusing human morality into policy-making will help build a better country and a more prosperous world.
